Our support to Food Bank

We believe in the importance of making a positive contribution to the well-being of the communities in which we operate.  Therefore, we commit to build a fairer, more equitable present and future.

We collaborate in several countries with Food Banks and other civil society organizations to support the food needs of the most vulnerable people, donating canned fish, an excellent source of vitamins and high quality proteins, easy to preserve and use.

Through this food surplus management program, in 2023 we have donated:

Italy

  • 75.699,89Kg of canned fish
  • 2.124,00kg of frozen vegetables
  • 34.346,83Kg of canned meat

Spain

  • 69.000,00 kg of canned fish

In addition, we supported emergency situations, such as the one that occurred in 2023 after the earthquake in Morocco, where we donated and distributed 112,000 cans of canned fish, in coordination with the Croissant Rouge Foundation and the Mohammed V Association.

In May 2020, we signed a long-term,
multi-country partnership with Oxfam Italy to promote the concept of
“healthier and more sustainable food”
,
not only for the environment and those who consume it, but also for those who produce it.

Since 2019, as part of our sustainable development strategy,
we have developed projects on education and health in both Manta
(Ecuador) and Agadir (Morocco).
